About the Propulsion Program

The Propulsion Program offers personalized support, focused on growth (for your startup). Companies taking part in the Propulsion Program benefit from a tailor-made activity program as well as the advice of our experts and Entrepreneurs in Residence to accelerate their development.

*The first year aims to validate your Product‑Market Fit; achieving this objective determines your access to the second year of the program.

 

Prerequisites of the Propulsion Program

To be eligible, your company must

  • ESTABLISHED IN QUEBEC

    Be incorporated and registered under the Registraire des entreprises du Québec, and have its head office in the province of Québec

  • VISA

    Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (no immigration services are provided)

  • FRENCH

    Have a professional level of French comprehension

  • VALIDATED SECTORS

    Have validated the proposed solution with potential customers and industry experts

  • AVAILABILITY

    Be available throughout the entire selection process; see dates below

  • BUSINESS MODEL

    Have a well-defined business model and a clear go-to-market plan

  • QUALIFIED TEAM

    Have put in place a team whose experience and expertise meet the needs of the project

Potential to secure funding

Participants in the Propulsion program benefit from a number of advantages, including the possibility of obtaining a grant (subject to certain conditions), as well as access to financing and grant programs .

Dedicated support

All participating/supported companies benefit from personalized support from various experts, including an advisor, an Entrepreneur in Residence and a CFO in Residence. They also have access to a curated program of workshops, peer discussion groups, and pitch practice sessions. Participation in activities is tailored and aligned with your current, real-world needs, ensuring you receive the right tools at the right time to accelerate your progress in a targeted way.

Advice from experienced external resources

As members of Centech’s innovation ecosystem, companies participating in the Propulsion Program have access to a network of potential partners, customers, service providers and seasoned investors. All supported companies have access to a funding expert, to the organizational psychology program, to the assistance program for entrepreneurs (EAP) and to many experts to support them in their growth.

Workspaces Designed for Entrepreneurs

Each incubated company has access to a dedicated workspace, an on-site manufacturing workshop (3D printers, etc.), several ÉTS laboratories, specialized software and all of Centech’s meeting rooms and facilities.

Propulsion Selection Process

Application deadline via the form.

April 30 and May 1, 2026

If you are selected, you will have a 30-minute qualification call with an expert of Centech.

Week of May 4, 2026

You will receive notification regarding your selection for the pre-Propulsion bootcamp.

May 12, 19, and 20, 2026

Pre-Propulsion Bootcamp: 3 days in-person at Centech in Montreal.

May 27, 28, or 29, 2026 (morning)

Selection Jury: You will be invited to pitch your startup during one of these mornings. Your exact time slot will be communicated to you on May 21, 2026.

May 29, 2026

You will be contacted to know the jury’s final decision.

June 11, 2026
