Trained as a civil engineer and holder of an MBA, Élise Villeneuve has spent over 25 years at the crossroads of engineering, technological innovation, and business strategy. A former partner at Deloitte, she has advised a wide range of organizations—from SMEs to large public and private entities—on growth, transformation, and market diversification initiatives. She brings together high-level analytical rigour with a deep understanding of on-the-ground dynamics.
Élise began her career at a firm exporting to the U.S., later co-founded a cleantech startup that she sold two years later, and also played an intrapreneurial role in industry, notably by leading the transition from R&D projects to market-ready offerings. Her experience gives her a unique edge: she speaks the language of engineers just as fluently as that of business leaders, financiers, and innovators.
She is also deeply engaged in Québec’s innovation ecosystem. Élise has supported numerous startups in shaping their strategic thinking, helped develop training content for engineers, and delivered numerous conferences and workshops on the commercialization of technological innovations. She has also contributed to the development of sectoral strategic plans and led major studies involving dozens of stakeholders, particularly in the energy sector.
Her approach? Clear-eyed, structured, and value-driven. Her strength? Aligning vision with execution—while keeping people at the heart of transformation.
