CENTECH announces companies chosen for Propulsion program, cohort Fall 18

Montreal, August 1 2018. For immediate release. Richard Chénier, CENTECH Director, has announced the six (6) technology companies selected for its Propulsion program, which starts this fall. He used the opportunity to underline the high-quality of the companies and projects submitted to the jury.

After a rigorous evaluation of the progress of their projects and the potential of their technological solutions, the following companies were accepted for the Propulsion program:
Vectis Drive helps companies build better machines through the introduction of a new speed reducer technology with unique performance advantages.
Entrepreneur: Mr Philippe Fauteux
ColdChain is a Canadian technology company with a strong background in the Cold Chain industry and deep knowledge of its regulation and best practices, thus making sure companies remain in constant compliance, output high quality products, and use the most cost-effective, cutting edge technologies out there.
Entrepreneurs: Mr Samuel Audet-Arsenault et Jean-Philippe Bédard
PowerTree helps building operators keep their electrical plans up-to-date with simple, easy-to-use software.
Entrepreneurs : Mr David L’Heureux et Mateusz Goral
UpField is a mobile app for the construction site supervision.
Entrepreneurs : Mr Reda Boubakri et Syphax Aroudj
Mechasys bring the power of lasers and computer vision to revolutionize the construction industry.
Entrepreneurs: Mr William St Pierre, Jonathan Lefebvre et Charles Ha
InVivo AI harnesses big data, bioinformatics, and artificial intelligence to help pharmaceutical companies navigate their drug development pipelines.

About the Propulsion program
Lasting a maximum of 24 months, the Propulsion program follows the mandatory Acceleration program at Centech. Selected companies benefit from rigorous supervision which allows them to quickly move from the initial development phase to commercializing their products and services on the international market.
