CENTECH announces companies chosen for Propulsion program, cohort E18

Montreal, April 17, 2018. Richard Chénier, CENTECH Director, has announced the six (6) technology companies selected for its Propulsion program, which starts May 8. He used the opportunity to underline the high-quality of the companies and projects submitted to the jury.

After a rigorous evaluation of the progress of their projects and the potential of their technological solutions, the following companies were accepted for the Propulsion program:
– RE-AK Technologies
This company develops equipment that uses artificial intelligence and biometrics to better understand human behaviour and feelings;
– Innodem
Innodem develops accessible and effective e-Health solutions to improve quality of life and care for people with neurological problems;
– NestingSafe
This company is involved with turtle conservation and research. It offers nesting activity monitoring to allow relocation to save hatchlings.
– Neurora
Neurora specializes in the development of biosensors that provide high definition recording and analysis of electrical brain activity. Neurora has multiple applications.
– Prevu3D
Prevu3D offers an innovative digitization, creation and distribution service for immersive 3D content for industry;
– Upscale Technology
Upscale’s mission is to help sound technicians and amateur and emerging artists quickly obtain a professional sound during shows.

About the Propulsion program
Lasting a maximum of 24 months, the Propulsion program follows the mandatory Acceleration program at Centech. Selected companies benefit from rigorous supervision which allows them to quickly move from the initial development phase to commercializing their products and services on the international market.
